Stonebarn Shorthorns was established by Ethan Murry in order to continue the traditions of livestock production fostered by his parents and siblings on their family farm. Working with livestock since his early years, stirred a passion for growing livestock and developed a desire to find a breed that could meet quality standards for beef production.

After 10 years of working with shorthorn beef cattle there was no question that he would start the development of a shorthorn cattle herd on his own farm. This true American family farm where hard work, quality production, and trusting in God above all else is what Stonebarn Shorthorns stands for and has been built upon. These values are the foundation for creating quality Shorthorn beef cattle and will create a legacy of excellent Shorthorn beef production on the Stonebarn Shorthorns farm.
